Sharing faith can be difficult for many because of cultural and spiritual barriers. This evangelism training course helps us to see how the Gospel addresses these challenges and equips and disciples church members to reach their communities.

東日本大震災から15年。この間、教会は15名の中長期宣教師を迎え、共に奉仕してきました。本分科会では、その歩みの中で一人の日本人牧師として学んだ「宣教師との良い協力関係」について分かち合います。また今回、これまで共に働いた宣教師の皆さんにアンケートを実施しましたので、その分析結果もご報告します。宣教師を迎えている教会、これから迎えようとしている教会、そして日本で奉仕する宣教師の皆さん、ぜひご参加ください。
It has been 15 years since the Great East Japan Earthquake. In that time, our church has welcomed 15 mid- and long-term missionaries and served alongside them. In this seminar, I will share what I have learned, as one Japanese pastor, about building good partnerships with missionaries. I also surveyed the missionaries who have worked with us, and I will report what the results show. Churches that host missionaries, churches preparing to welcome them, and missionaries serving in Japan are all warmly invited.

For the Japanese, an unreached people group, to become "reached," 2% of Japan's population needs to become disciples of Christ. That would mean 50,000 churches of 50 people each. I hope we can think together about this seemingly impossible road.

What does it take to still be doing gospel work twenty or thirty years from now? This session looks to Scripture to define longevity as faithfulness, and then considers what it means to pursue that faithfulness over a long life of gospel work
This session explores the history of church planting in Japan, highlighting key movements, missionaries, and Japanese leaders who have shaped the church over time. We will look at lessons learned from past successes and challenges in sharing the gospel and establishing new churches.
